The event that Auckland foodies have been waiting for is getting ready to return and it’s set to be the biggest yet! For four days only, ASB Showgrounds will play home to The Food Show Auckland with visitors coming from far and wide to uncover new culinary treats and a plethora of tips from household names such as Chelsea Winter and Nadia Lim.
Take your taste buds on a journey through the show’s different delectable zones to find out what’s on offer. Start by checking out Street Food Alley, a must for those who like exotic cuisines, head over to Ceres Organics’ Healthy Hub Kitchen where there will be plenty of tips and tricks for making nourishing food, head off the beaten track and check out what inspired creations are hiding in the Artisan Village, deep dive into the craft beer revolution that has been taking the world by storm in Brewer’s Lane and finish it all off with a wedge of time in the Cheese Alley.
With over 250 exhibitors set to grace the show, this is a chance for you to encounter a world of new flavours you perhaps wouldn’t in your everyday life. Talk, taste and smell your way through the show - with everything from Maori street food through to Kvas (a new type of fermented drink), craft beer, delicious ice cream and everything in between, you’re sure to find something you’ll love!
The Food Show’s NEFF Cooking Theatre will once again prove bountiful to those looking for some new tips in the kitchen. Expect to see the likes of Masterchef winners Nadia Lim and Chelsea Winter as well as former Australian My Kitchen Rules contestant, Luke Hines. Since gracing our TV screens, these stand-out talents have gone on to achieve incredible things in the food world; their range of popular cookbooks adorn the kitchen benchtops of thousands – Luke Hines even went on to be a food consultant to Angelina Jolie!
